Mary Goldberg, PhD, is an Associate Professor in the Human Engineering Research Laboratories, Department of Rehabilitation Science and Technology, and Institute for Clinical Research Education at the University of Pittsburgh. She has a background in education with a concentration in rehabilitation science. She has led or co-directed several training programs in the field of assistive technology and teaches several innovation courses. Dr. Goldberg has advised over two dozen teams on product development and innovation over a 10 year period. Dr. Goldberg serves as the Co-Director for the NIDILRR-funded IMPACT project, seeking to identify appropriate pathways for effective technology translation and build capacity among NIDILRR grantees in this area.
